About Care by Volvo Subscription

Q: What is a Care by Volvo subscription?

A: Care by Volvo is an optional monthly subscription for leased vehicles covering your monthly payment plus insurance, maintenance costs, and other little details like roadside assistance you need as a car owner.  It is a no-commitment subscription that you can cancel at any time.

Q: What is the difference between a Care by Volvo subscription and a traditional car lease?

A: With a traditional car lease, only your monthly payment is covered.  You are responsible for monthly maintenance, extra wear and tear, and other items not covered under your lease agreement.  With Care by Volvo, everything you need for car ownership is covered in one easy payment.

Q: What is included with Care by Volvo?

A: Care by Volvo includes: Monthly Payment, Insurance Coverage, 1,250 Monthly Mileage, Factory Scheduled Maintenance, Excess Wear Protection, Tire and Wheel Protection, and Road Side Assistance.

Q: What is included in the maintenance?

A: All the factory scheduled maintenance recommended for your Volvo in your Warranty and Maintenance booklet is covered.  This also includes wear items like wiper blades, brake pads, and rotors.

Q: What is Excess Wear Protection?

A: Excess Wear Protection covers up to 1,000-dollars for things like large dents, dings, windshield damage, tire replacement, or interior damage.

Q: What is Road Hazard Tire and Wheel Protection?

Care by Volvo takes care of any damage to your tires and wheels in the event they get damaged by debris or other road conditions.

Q: What about taxes and registration fees?

Taxes and registration fees vary by state, so they are not included in the prices shown online and might need to be paid separately or even annually if that is required by your state.

Getting started

Q: How do I start a Care by Volvo subscription?

A: You can start your Care by Volvo Subscription by applying online.

Q: What do I need to sign up?

A: A US driver's license and at least two years of credit history. Risk factors, including credit history, determine eligibility.


Q: How does insurance work?

A: Care by Volvo includes insurance through our partnership with Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Q: Can I add the Care by Volvo vehicle under my existing Umbrella policy?

A: You should check with your umbrella insurance provider before taking delivery of your vehicle.

Q: What will happen in the event of a total loss?

A: In the event of a total loss, Care by Volvo includes Gap insurance, so you don't have to worry. However, you are still responsible for your subscription payments up until the date that the loss occurred plus your deductible.

Vehicle delivery

Q: When does my subscription start?

A: After you are approved for Care by Volvo, we will deliver your vehicle within two weeks, and your subscription starts on the day your vehicle is delivered.

Q: What Vehicle Delivery Options Do I Have?

A: When your desired vehicle is available, we will contact you to schedule a pickup time at our dealership in Frisco, or we can arrange to deliver your vehicle.

Q: Can I add accessories to my vehicle?

You can buy Volvo Accessories through our parts center, but they will not be included in your monthly payment.
