The entry-level XC90 Core has a strong list of standard equipment. Highlights include an 11.2-inch center touchscreen with Google built in, four-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2027 XC90 Have?
The XC90 gives you two 48V mild-hybrid powertrains to choose from. Both utilize a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The standard B5 powertrain produces up to 247 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, while Volvo rates the optional B6 powertrain at a stout 295 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive comes standard across all trims. When properly equipped, the XC90 can tow up to 5,000 pounds, allowing you to haul fishing boats and Jet Skis with confidence.
