The brand-new Volvo V60 crossover finally made its way to our shores this fall. Called the V60 Cross Country, this gorgeous crossover made its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this past November to rave reviews.
The new V60 Cross Country is a variation on the standard V60 compact wagon, but adds some impressive off-roading capabilities, as well as a gorgeous new exterior design. The new off-roading aspects are due largely to a new suspension that sits nearly 3 inches higher than the standard wagon. The exterior also boasts new front and rear skid plates, fender extendsions, side scuff plates, exhaust outlets in the rear bumper and Hill Descent Control.

The successful combination of dynamic styling and rugged capability places the V60 Cross Country in a class of its own," said Lex Kerssemakers, Senior Vice President Product Strategy and Vehicle Line Management at Volvo Cars.
Under the hood, look for a five-cylinder engine that rates at around 250 horsepower. The engine is paired with a standard automatic transmission and all-wheel drive option. This power augments the Cross Country's beautiful interior, which boasts a sporty new style with features that include sport seats with black leather and brown stitching.
