The new 2016 Volvo S60 is getting an all-new variant this model year: the Inscription. Made specifically for American buyers, the S60 Inscription boasts increased legroom and more luxury features than the regular version of the sedan.

This new variant comes after a long bout of research on the part of Volvo to find more ways to appeal to an American audience. The final result? A sedan that is 2.9 inches longer than the regular S60 and sports a host of exceptional luxury features, such as special-design 19-inch alloy wheels, a power-rear sunshade, silk-finish metal trim, walnut trim, interior accent lighting and Inscription-branded tread plates.

Two trims will be available on the S60 Inscription: Premier and Platinum. Added features to the Premier trim include a moonroof, Volvo’s Sensus navigation system and leather upholstery. The Platinum trim gets the full Sensus tech package, dual-xenon headlights and a Harman Kardon audio system. Drivers will have their choice between a turbocharged T5 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or a turbocharged T5 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder to power the S60 Inscription. Drivers can also choose between front-wheel or all-wheel drive packages.

The 2016 Volvo S60 Inscription will come to Dallas this summer. For more information about this latest edition of the S60 sedan, stop by Volvo of Dallas today and talk to one of our friendly and expert salespeople.
