The Twin Motor Performance models have an increased power output of 510 horsepower. Along with the twin motors, the EX90 will have a 107-kWh battery pack that produces up to 310 miles of all-electric range.

The XC90 has a standard turbo engine that produces 247 horsepower. The B6 model gets up to 295 horsepower with the same engine, and its torque output increases to 310 pound-feet. The XC90 also has a plug-in hybrid powertrain option that uses an electric motor for a total power output of 455 horsepower. This model also gets up to 32 miles of all-electric range. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard with the Volvo XC90, and all-wheel drive is standard with the EX90.

Appearance

Both the EX90 and the XC90 have a classic Scandinavian design that emphasizes sleek, clean lines and simplicity. The EX90 has a range of wheel sizes from 20 to 22 inches. Summer tires are optional, and features such as a fixed glass roof add to its upscale appearance. The EX90 also has elongated headlights for safety and visibility. The XC90 has standard 20-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. Larger 21-inch wheels are available.

Features

The EX90 comes with a well-equipped cabin that has a 14.5-inch touchscreen display, Google-based software, a panoramic camera, and wireless Apple CarPlay. Massaging seats and an upgraded sound system come with the top trim. The XC90 features standard heated front seats, a digital instrument display, and Google navigation.
