Performance

The 2019 Volvo S90 Momentum is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine known as the T5. The T5 engine of the S90 Momentum produces 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The S90 Momentum comes standard with a front-wheel drive platform. However, an all-wheel drive system is included as an option. The T5 can achieve 23 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway.

The 2019 Volvo S90 Inscription utilizes the Volvo T6 engine. The T6 is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 310 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The T6 can either be supercharged or turbocharged, depending on the configuration that you prefer. As with the T5, the T6 transfers its power through an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. The T6 is able to achieve 21 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway.

Appearance

Volvo has made several changes to increase the luxury of the 2019 S90 models. The interior of the 2019 Volvo S90 T5 Momentum is now lined using a comfortable faux leather material, and the control surfaces of the 2019 Volvo S90 Inscription now feature diamond-knurling.

Features

Among a few of the new standard features that have been added to the S90 T5 Momentum are a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display, and smartphone connectivity through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety technology such as forward-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist are included as standard features on the S90 Momentum. These are a small portion of the many available features for the model.

Much like the 2019 Volvo S90 Momentum, the 2019 Volvo S90 Inscription has been upgraded with more advanced technology. The 2019 S90 Inscription now comes standard with a Harman Kardon audio system. The front seats are 14-way power-adjustable and allow both the driver and passenger to sit in a position that is suitable for them. The new 2019 Advance Package is offered for the S90 Inscription as an option. The package includes full LED headlights, automatic high beams, self-parking, and a 360-degree exterior camera system as additional features.
