Volvo offers the new XC90 in three trim configurations: Core, Plus, and Ultra. Even the entry-level Core trim provides upscale amenities. An eight-speed automatic gearbox feeds power to an all-wheel drive system. Volvo rates the new XC90 to tow up to 5,000 pounds, which means you can confidently pull small camping trailers and boats. Keep in mind that you can step up to an even stronger turbo four-cylinder engine, which develops a stout 295 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It also benefits from mild-hybrid technology.
